Dental Implants Meriden
A Permanent Solution For a Longer-Lasting Smile

Dental implants remain superior to other tooth replacement options (dentures and dental bridges) not only because of their ability to stimulate the jawbone, but also because they remain in place for 30 years or more. At Care Dental Associates, Dr. Ma offers the start-to-finish process in-house, so you can replace your missing teeth with the same professionals you already know and trust. If you’re ready to do something about your missing teeth, schedule a consultation today.

What are Dental Implants?

Dental implants allow you to enjoy life with a more stable, permanent smile thanks to the titanium implant posts that fuse with your jawbone. Carefully positioned by Dr. Ma and our team, these strong, root-like structures support your custom crown, bridge, or denture, which you will receive in the final stage of dental implant treatment.
The 4-Step Dental Implant Process

Dental implant placement and restoration includes four distinct steps that every patient must take: the initial consultation, the dental implant surgery, osseointegration and abutment attachments, and the placement of their final restoration.
- Initial Dental Implant Consultation: You and Dr. Ma will discuss your oral and overall health history before he examines your jawbone using the CT/Cone Beam Scanner. Based on his findings, you will either move forward with dental implant surgery or be required to undergo additional treatment to address poor jawbone density, gum disease, or dental decay.
- Dental Implant Surgery: Local anesthesia is administered before Dr. Ma begins placing each dental implant. Using information collected from digital images and scans, he will carefully position them to provide maximum support.
- Dental Implant Osseointegration/Abutment: Recovery from dental implant surgery can take 3-6 months, as your implants must fuse properly with your jawbone through a process known as osseointegration. Once this is complete, we will place metal abutments on top of each implant so that your restoration will attach correctly.
- Delivery of Dental Implant Restoration(s): Once our office receives your dental restoration, you will return to have it secured to your dental implants. We will check your crown, bridge, or denture to ensure it meets our standards before attaching it and checking your bite, confirming you are pleased with the results.
